Cultural Safety

  • You can now provide your own policy statement if you prefer. This enables whānau-led providers to make a personalised statement.
  • Language changed to include "physically and emotionally safe" and present the concept of cultural safety as something the practice environment is or isn't.
  • New heading "Determining cultural safety" and definition of how this is measured added.

Representation at the Practice*

  • Policy statement made more action oriented: "We strive to engage and collaborate with the different groups within our population."
