Controlled Drug Stock

• Page fully reviewed and rewritten..
• Information about storing and checking controlled drug pads added back in. This applies to all practices who hold any controlled drug pads at all at the practice and is required for Foundation.
• Practices who do not hold any pads at all at the practice should tell us and we'll give you an alternative version of the page.
• Ordering information is no longer included, policy and procedure focus on legislative requirements. Email us to add your pharmacy details to your Contact List.
• All other previous information has been moved and reformatted but should still be included. If you believe something is missing that was previously there, please contact us.

Repeat Prescriptions

• Drop-down giving examples of inappropriate prescribing removed.
• Our clinical advisor recommended removal as the situations given may vary from practice to practice and weren't applicable to all.

IT Security

• Section on cyber-breaches added, containing links to organisations to contact in the event of discovering a breach.

Medicine Stock

• RENAMED – previously called Practice Medication Stock.
• Restructured to make it easier to include additional checklists, and easier to add information for practices with more than one premises.

Community Contacts

• Page removed as this is no longer required for Foundation. We have moved the contact information from this page to your main Contact List page.
• This will be rolled out over the next couple of weeks.
• A few practices have very detailed Community Contacts pages that can't be included in the Contact List, where this is the case we will create a Word Document for you.
