Suspicious Mail
In an emergency dial 111
- Keep calm.
- Assist anyone in immediate danger.
- Evacuate if necessary.
- Follow instructions from wardens or emergency services.

If you receive suspicious mail

- Gently put the mail down on a dry, level, and unconfined surface.
- Do not:
- disturb or open the item
- clean up spilled liquids or powder
- touch package contents.
- Move everyone away from the mail and isolate the area.
- Turn off any equipment that could spread air flow to other parts of the practice such as air conditioning.
- Remove any clothing that came into contact with the package.
- Wash any part of the body that came into contact, using soap and hot water.
- Isolate anyone who may be contaminated.
Contact emergency servicesand evacuate the practice. Do not activate the alarm unless instructed by police.
